Hey you! I’m Taylor…
I’m the host of TTM, a community for chicks who aren’t letting a modest salary or other financial setbacks stop them from karate chopping through complacency and doing things in life they enjoy.
This site is a curation of hacks, resources, and tools to help you:
- Save more money, and
- Get off the damn couch (or spend a little less money on bottle service), so you can
- Stop feeling like you’re missing out on more worthwhile experiences, and
- Start making moves towards real goals
The rap lyrics, awkward jokes, and general quirkiness that you’ll find around this site are just an added bonus.
MORE ABOUT THE GYAL BEHIND THE KEYBOARD
My belief is that money (and not having enough of it) shouldn’t determine whether or not you’re able to have fun.
And that being an internet sensation isn’t a requirement for having a satisfying life.
Full friggin’ stop.
If lacking money or motivation is making you feel stuck– I built this platform to help.
Why listen to me?
I’ve always wanted to have big fun on a budget.
But I wasn’t always money savvy.
In 2014, I discovered my passion (writing) can actually pay the bills if I start actually being productive.
I made a deal with myself that if I could pay off my student loan I could take writing full-time.
Although I was fortunate not to have a mountain of student loan debt, having the determination to meet that goal took me from the complacent, 20-something-year-old-happy-hour-every-single-week-day fein into someone who used money smarts to unlock doors professionally and personally.
I’m an Atlanta blogger still on a journey to improving my relationship with money and keeping motivated. I share with you unapologetically the ups and downs; successes and epic fails to hopefully inspire if you’re at a crossroads.
Although part of my name is in the domain of this site (something I’m still kicking myself for), this space on the net is really about us and I hope to begin collecting stories from the community very soon.
The mission is sharing money tools and inspiring words to help you pursue whatever it is that will make your life more fulfilling — and fun as hell.
Now that we’re acquainted, here’s a good place to start.
