I lost 20 pounds recently thanks in part to fat-burning workouts.
Now, 20 pounds may not be a lot for someone who’s tall, but I’m 5’2.
Being short and 20 pounds overweight is noticeable and not noticeable in a good way.
(Think Snooki during her Jersey Shore partying days compared to now.)
I lost weight through a combination of eating better, drinking better, and working out.
There were no expensive gimmicks, teas, waist trainers, fad diets, or pills. I also didn’t need to sign up for a gym membership.
The type of exercise that I attribute a lot of my weight loss to is HIIT training.

HIIT is an acronym for high intensity interval training.
It’s doing very intense movements for a period of time (usually 1 to 2 minutes) followed by a short recovery period.
You repeat this cycle for about 20 minutes. I found that this type of training helped me burn fat quicker than long cardio sessions i.e. running or elliptical-ing.

Tip: You may not be able to finish a HIIT workout entirely the first time around. That’s okay. It was tough for me at first, too. When you master a workout move on to another. You may even want to switch up the workout you do each day.
Although some of the HIIT workouts below have similar moves, they’re in different sequences which helped me push through weight loss plateaus.
Your body gets used to a workout when you do it over and over again. Eventually, your body needs to use less energy to do the same set of moves in the same order. Less energy used means less calories burned, so keep your body guessing.
